Home of the Santi Asoke

founded in 1977, Dhamma Santi Foundation has the following objectives:

• To help preserve and promote the propagation of the truths as taught by Lord Buddha.
• To promote the Dhamma practice in Buddhism.
• To support and promote the setup of organizations concerning education, medical healthcare, public health, handicraft, industry, mass communication, commerce (Booniyom - non-profit form of economy) and law.
• To promote public benefits without political interference

Everyone is a vegetarian Dhamma practitioner, most of whom observe 5 or 8 precepts in Buddhism.  

They refrain from Apaya mukha or the vices that lead to lower spiritual life. 

They hold a meeting once a month and they receive no salary.

Chiang Rai's Santi Asoke community live on a beautiful property, crossed by a river, planted with fruit trees, herbs, vegetables, spices, and flowers.
