Vairaharaha, a beautiful tahitian trekking

Vairaharaha, Mataiea, Tahiti

This is one of the easiest trekking on the island of Tahiti

The valley is Vairaraha, and the district is Mataiea.




We walked in the valley, we followed and crossed the river a few times

The walk was fairly smooth and never steep

At the end of a few hours walk, we chose to have lunch in the shade of a mape forest

After lunch, some of us had a catnap on the beach

and others, like myself, went swimming and enjoyed the pure and clean flowing river.




Then came the time to walk back enjoying nature, listening to the birds and brooks running here and there.
