A very special wedding

I met them on their wedding day

Their mariage was to be celebrated in one of their friends'home,

in the middle of the High Desert of California

As I walked into the house, I was greated by a tall, thin, healthy and pleasant looking man,

with a strange hairdo.

He had the most wonderful and friendliest smile on his face.

He was the groom.

I lingered in the living room as everyone was rushing around, getting everything ready for the ceremony.

A young and handsome man was sitting on a chair by himself. He was the pastor.

My daughter in charge of the wedding photos went into the room where the bride was being groomed for the most beautiful moment in her life.

Children were sitting smiling and happy


I walked toward the table where the wedding cake was displayed

and discovered that the cake told the newlywed's story.


Three cakes:

the first one told the story of two homeless who camped in a tent nearby a road with a dog

the second showed a lawnmower and gardening tools for the new business the man was launching, and the dog

the third one showed their new life, and the dog

the bride smiled throughout the ceremony

the groom cried 

they were amazingly in love, grateful and happy

they are not homeless any more, they love each other and they are married...
